Looking for a Tulum bar, beach club, AND resort that ticks ALL the boxes? Here’s why you need to visit Nômade Tulum.
Tulum’s not exactly short of beach clubs, but none quite live up to the bar that Nômade has set. This luxury resort boasts a private beach and serves up cocktails and delicious dishes in abundance.
Excited? You should be. Here’s why you need to visit Nômade on your next Tulum Vacation.
The Bar and Beach Club
A luxury hotel with a private beach was always going to be a winner, wasn’t it? Nômade does not disappoint. The beach club is far more laid-back than some of Tulum’s other offerings, though evenings see the crowd ramp up a little bit.
Enter Nômade and follow a path down towards the stunning white sand beach and glittering ocean – choose to go for a swim or recline on a sunbed with a cocktail in hand. Or, if a sunbed isn’t your vibe (in that case we ask what are you doing at a beach club?), pull up a pillow or chill out in a swinging hammock between the trees.
Cocktail-wise, there’s a generous menu filled with local favorites (expect plenty of Mezcal) and global classics. If you’re not double-parked with a margarita in each hand, you’re doing it wrong.
Dining at Nômade
Nômade has two beautiful restaurants, Macondo and La Popular, each offering something different.
Macondo is a colorful and vibrant Middle Eastern-inspired dining space, both in its menu and decor. Sharing plates is the way to go here, with the likes of lamb tagine, latke, and roasted falafel all on the menu – order plenty and share with friends. Also expect a stellar cocktail menu and live music most days.
La Popular is Nômade’s impressive beachfront offering, focusing on serving fresh fish in a simple dining ceremony. As you would expect, the views are stunning and the seafood here is sublime. Order the salmon tartare or the zingy Nômade ceviche and you’ll leave very, very happy.
Why Stay at Nômade?
If you want the full experience, we recommend staying at Nômade. But, there’s no beating around the bush, Nômade is a luxury resort with a luxury price tag.
That said, a stay at Nômade is worth every single penny.
Whether you fancy staying in a luxe tent, a tree house, or even a jungle suite, Nômade has got a suitable beautiful option for you. You can even opt for garden or beach views. Seriously dreamy.
Not content with just being home to the most gorgeous accommodation in Tulum, as well as a bangin’ beach club, the resort also boasts a spa.
About the Accommodation
Tent-wise, there are three options: the deluxe tent nestled within their pretty gardens, the moon tent boasting stunning views of the beach, or the master tent which comes with a private plunge pool.
If you would rather stay in a treehouse, you’re in luck. Decorated in a rustic yet sleek Moroccan style, you’ll live in luxury with a full double bed, private bathroom, air conditioning, and concierge service.
Full suites boast the luxuries of all the above, with the addition of four solid walls – though, personally, we recommend opting for the master tent. A private pool just cannot be beaten.
